About Mama, RN

Hi! My name is Callie, and I am married to my best friend Andrew and pregnant with our first baby girl. I previously worked as a registered nurse specializing mainly in primary care/family medicine and home health. While I love caring for my patients, I recently felt called to care first for my family and friends while growing my baby girl.

While working as a nurse, I began to see the gaps in patient care and education and became frustrated with the healthcare system. I started to see gaps in holistic patient education. Doctors are not provided with the time or resources to adequately teach patients and are governed by insurance companies that do not always allow for the best patient care. After seeing these frustrations, I transitioned out of my traditional nursing career in December of 2024 to accept my calling as a stay-at-home mom and wife.

Having been a nurse, a patient, and now a mama to my growing baby, I have seen how complex the healthcare system is to navigate and have made it my mission to help other mamas with tips to navigate the system and to provide my research as I learn how to best care for my baby girl. Please join me on this journey! I can't promise to have all the answers, but I will do my best to provide adequate research on the many health options presented to parents today.

Thank you for coming along with me!
